What a lizard 🦎 taught me.

What I’m Reading:

I just watched a report about the complications of AI technology.

With AI, we must ensure that morals and ethics are in place to maintain order.

If not, the implications can be massive if this technology goes awry.

In fact, Elon Musk himself was incredibly worried about the consequences of people misusing AI.

That said, we’re not anti-AI.

AI can be used as a force of good.

However, we must be cautious in De-Risking, as the implications can be incredibly harmful if things go wrong.

What I’m Watching:

I’m watching a documentary by a prominent Sociology Professor, Sam Richards,  Penn State University.

In the video, he explains how K-pop took over the world.

K-pop didn’t try to be American – it was original and didn’t take inspiration from Hollywood.

This is something we can learn and apply to our business too.

In one of the Holy Grail Principles, we learn the importance of holding on to our values, which determine who we attract and repel.

We will attract a like-minded crowd based on our beliefs and values.

So do not fake who you’re – it wouldn’t do good for your business in the long term.

What I’m Thinking:

I was at my mum’s place in Batu Pahat Johor, and something interesting happened.

Long story short, we tried to dispose of a Lizard stuck in the sink – this creature could flee initially as we were distracted, but it got caught in the sink again.

As the lizard was trapped, we were able to dispose of it.

Interestingly, the lizard had a good 45-60 seconds to flee from the sink when we first found it.

But it ran into the sink again and couldn’t find its way out.

There is an interesting lesson we can learn from this.

Human beings have the tendency to make repeated mistakes.

The biggest mistake you can make is to fail for the fourth or fifth time without understanding what went wrong or why you made that mistake.

One of the biggest mistakes I’ve personally made again and again is the Bright Shiny Object Syndrome, that you go from place to place without any focus.

If you’re currently suffering from Bright Shiny Object Syndrome as an entrepreneur, then one of the things you can do this Sunday is watch the Six Figure Side Hustle docu-series.

You will get 27 different case studies of the most promising side hustles out there right now.

So you can pick and choose the one you like and commit to that.
