WYODC WEEKLY #48: Biggest Email Sin?

Hey ,

When most copywriters write email, they focus on the subject line, email copy and the “voice”.

These are good tips… but most copywriters miss out an important part of email.

In fact, it’s probably the most important part.

And it’s not what you’d expect.

Nothing to do with your subject line, copy or even “voice”.

The biggest mistake you can make as an email copywriter is to let your email go down the SPAM “drain”.

Now, I’m not talking about the regular spam folder.

I’m talking about the ‘glorified spam folder’ – where open rates are almost as bad as spam (and most business owners have NO clue that this is happening to them).

AKA the Gmail Promo Tab.

Landing in the Promo Tab is like throwing half of your email list in the trash – because the open rates are only about half as much as the Primary Tab.

BUT…

Fixing this problem can increase open rates by 50-100%.

That means, for example, if your open rates are around 15% right now… they COULD be as high as 25-30% when you get out of the Promo Tab.

And guess what that does to your sales?

Yep, they go up by roughly the same amount – which could be hundreds or thousands of extra dollars per email.

That’s why I convinced my friend and email marketing expert Troy Ericson to reveal how to get out of the Promo Tab in seconds & increase email revenue up to 133%.

Sure, it sounds unbelievable, but companies like Traffic & Funnels, V-Shred, and Rich Schefren all use Troy’s method (which is Gmail-compliant, btw). So you know that it works.

I’d recommend checking it out now since every day you wait is another day of missing out on more sales:

Cheers,

Zach
