What I’m Reading:
I’m reading some of the content/material my speakers for The Vault sent me.
One of the things I’m working on is creating the very best LIVE Keynote Experience for the participants.
To do that, I must study the speakers content diligently before I can bounce ideas with them.
It’s hard work, but I’m enjoying the massive buffet for my brain.
All I can say is that I’m super stoked for the participants of the Vault.
What I’m Watching:
I was watching the U.S. debt crisis event very closely last week.
In case you’re wondering what that is… the U.S. federal government could run out of funds to pay its bills as soon as June 1st.
This can send shockwaves across the economy and markets.
If you’re invested in any form of equities, you should be watching this closely too as any default or negative news could send the stocks tumbling.
What I’m Thinking:
Man… I’m incredibly busy this week – preparing for WYODC’s first LIVE in-person event.
I’ve had a couple of heavy hitters.
Here are some of the coolest speakers I’ve lined up:
– Les Brown #1 Affiliate, top 5 affiliates in Warrior+, won the prestigious Clickbank Platinum award 5 times.
– Number 1 Performance Coach to celebrity coaches such as Stefan Georgi.
– Serial entrepreneur and authority in Impact Investment. He founded and exited a business for $40M.
– COO cum Head of Community of one of the biggest blockchain networks in the world.
Here’s one thought I’m having:
Authority is Everything.
If you truly want to run a sustainable business, you need some form of authority… or to put it simply, power.
And don’t get me wrong – I don’t mean being good at what you do (That’s the pre-requisite).
After all, you can’t stay in business if you don’t fulfill your promises.
But you need something else if you want to thrive and do better.
For example, if you were to run an event like me – you would have to create partners and speaker collaborations.
However, it’s challenging to convince high-quality speakers to speak at your event… especially if you’re not hosting the only event.
In summary, you must give people a reason to speak at your event.
Because if you don’t… the best speakers would skip your event and participate in someone else’s.
And to do that… you’ll need:
Status
Status is the desirability for people to work with you.
Now… the question becomes:
How do you develop that status?
If you’re running a coaching or consulting business today, building a course is the best way to do that.
Even if you don’t have a six-figure payday on launch day.
The most ostentatious benefit you’ll see is that you’ll start becoming a thought leader when you share your ideas to the public.
Because when you create a course and start sharing your ideas, you become more respected in the marketplace.
That’s how Tony Robbins built his billion-dollar coaching business from obscurity.
You will see FAR MORE opportunities flow to you when you rise in status.
People will come seeking collaborations, and you can choose who you want to work with.
You’ll get higher-paying gigs too.
Anyway, I’ve never looked back after launching Holy Grail Copywriting.
