Today I want to share an interesting story with you.

2 days ago… while I was working out at the gym, I overheard a conversation between two people who I had just met. 

The first person, A, carries a fluffy muffin top… 

While the second person, B, looks like he was training for a crossfit competition. 

B was recommending a weight loss pill to A… 

… which will make A lean and fit within 30 days.

… that will work even though A doesn’t perform those excruciating painful or lung-bursting workouts. 

Initially A didn’t believe it… 

Because B looked like he stepped out of a Mixed-Martial Arts Ring. 

However, A was convinced later when B showed his older photos of himself to A. 

A was completely shocked. 

At the back of his head, he was wondering how it is possible to lose so much weight and gain muscle within a span of a few weeks… 

Since seeing is believing, A decided to give it a shot. 

He decided to get those weight loss pills that B recommended.

Beneath this interesting story, one of the biggest things I learned is this…

Pain Creates Procrastination

You see, one of the reasons why most people continuously fail to lose weight is because there’s just too much pain involved in weight loss.

When you are overweight, chances are you might find it painful to hit those insane HIIT workouts where you alternate between 45 second work and 15 second rest. 

Moreover, to lose weight, you have to control what you eat… which is a challenge for most people. 

This is why 95% of people never make it when they set a goal to lose weight.

Because there’s just too much pain involved. 

Pain creates a sense of “Fight” or “Flight” mode and for most of us, we’re wired to move away from pain…

And that’s why we procrastinate.

Now, if we were to apply this same lesson to our copywriting business… 

One question we can ask ourselves is this…

“What is creating the most amount of pain in my business that is stopping me from growing?”

Now most personal development gurus would say things like… 

Pain = Growth. 

No pain, no gain. 

And while that is true… 

I believe most of us didn’t build our business to suffer.

Our ultimate end goal is to have easier and faster ways to make more money… all while working less. 

Simply because no one wants to build a successful business, only to work 2 or 3 times harder than they are working now. 

It doesn’t make sense. 

The good news is this…
